What is the difference between cloud and dedicated server?

Cloud Server

A virtual private server with dedicated space to host your website is a Cloud server. It is scalable at any given point of time. It runs on Linux or Windows OS.

Cloud server running on Linux OS is Linux Cloud Server. Client is given SSH access to manage his website. It comes with a package of cPanel to manage his website, Free Dedicated 1 static IP. Softaculous Installer with 435 scripts, Root access, SSD storage, on demand scaling. SSH access is unlimited but the client can restrict the number of users.

Cloud server running Windows OS is Windows Cloud Server. Client is given Remote Desktop access to manage websites. It comes with Plesk panel, 1 Free Static IP, App installer with 272 scripts, Admin access, SSD storage and demand scaling. Admin access is restricted to 2 users.

Dedicated Server

As the name suggests it’s a server dedicated to one person with all facilities. It would run on Linux/Windows OS as per requirement. It is used when high traffic is foreseen. Dedicated server gives u unrestrained access to everything. It includes Root/Admin Access to manage the websites, cPanel/Plesk panel, Free 2 dedicated IPs, SSD storage. RAID controller is also provided.
